Starwood was established as a small factory in Hong Kong manufacturing plastic premiums in 1983. It started its business with plastic keychains, which has been its major production in its 20 year's history. In April 1992, Starwood's production plant moved to Mainland China while its head office remained in Hong Kong. Within the same year, Starwood became a specialist in injection of acrylic items.
