Starwood was established as a small factory in Hong Kong manufacturing plastic premiums in 1983. It started its business with plastic keychains, which has been its major production in its 20 year's history.
In April 1992, Starwood's production plant moved to Mainland China while its head office remained in Hong Kong. Within the same year, Starwood became a specialist in injection of acrylic items. Meanwhile, it introduced its patented Magic Photo Cube and the patent Lottery series of keychains and premiums were also selling hot in the market
In December 2002, Starwood further extended its productivity by building its brand new factory in Shenzhen, China to cope with the expanding market. Now, Starwood produce different sophisticated POP/POS display units for mobile phones, electronic products, cosmetic and optical accessories. Some of those are made with combinations of electrical, mechanical, electronic and lighting mechanisms.
In 2003, cutting edge design of 2D menu stand and 3D menu stand were launched into the market. At the same time, its premium game set series and acrylic sandwich photo frame were introduced and received great responses from trade fairs all over the world.
