China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd. (CIMC) was founded by China Merchants Holdings and the East Asiatic Company Ltd.(EAC) in January 1980.CIMC was one of the first container manufacturers and Sino-foreign joint ventures in China. CIMC went into production on Sep 22, 1982, while in 1987 CIMC became a tri-party joint venture after COSCO joined in. CIMC went public in 1993 and has been listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1994. CIMC started to run as the group structure in 1995. As CIMC fixes the mission to be customers' partner for modern transportation, CIMC has dedicated to manufacturing and supplying of containers, trailers, tank equipments and airport equipments. With the total assets of RMB 22.92 billion, net assets of over RMB 11.11 billion, CIMC has over 50 subsidiaries and 50,000 staff globally.
Our company now has producing lines of normal container semi-trailer, mild steel tank, stainless steel tank, aluminum tank, American chassis, special vehicle and cement mixer. The main products are tank container, van, car-carrier, container chassis, platform, low-bed, dumper and other special hi-tech and valuable semi-trailers under Tonghua Brand. And the tank products are in leading status in China.
