The History of Holley Metering Ltd. (HML) in the metering business dates back to 1970 when the company was founded in Yuhang, a suburban district of Hangzhou. In 1994, HML moved its headquarters from Yuhang to Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang province. In 2002, HML?s acquisition of Hangzhou Beta Gas Meter Company marks the first step to expand the product range from electricity meter to gas, water and heat meters. Nowadays, with the annual production capability of 23 million pieces of electricity meters, HML is proud to rank first among the Chinese electricity meter manufacturers for 11 consecutive years from 1993 based on the Metering Comprehensive Economic Indices. In 2003, Holley was awarded China Top Brand. As one of the biggest local employers with 3800 employees, HML plays a vital role in the local economy. The Parent company of HML is Holley Group, which is a purely privately owned company.
HML?s strong and extensive sales network is composed of 360 people working in 28 sales branches located in the capital city of each province. HML?s customers include over 1000 utilities at different levels in China. In order to better serve our customers, HML also runs 10 assembly factories located in different parts of the country including Hangzhou, Shenyang, Chongqing, and etc.
Following the strategy of internationalization set forth in 1996, HML has made tremendous effort on the international market. Meters with ?Holley? brand have been sold to over 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and South America. By establishing factories and sales branches in Thailand, Argentina, Uzbekistan and Nigeria, as well as partnership with strong local players, Holley has secured its position as the leading Chinese electricity meter exporter.
