XL-photonics is a venture company, who produce parts for more than 2.5Gb/s level of middle to long distant optical communications.  After the company was founded in 1999, XL-photonics not only began home production of parts, but also, worked on optical communication parts for exportation.  Today, XL-photonics is ready to produce starting from devices for the core parts of semiconductors to module packaging. The company also have different kind of products and technical service.

1. By focusing on different kinds of High-end products, XL-photonics found new over seas market
- in year 2003, XL-photonics developed 2.5G APD-TIA. In year 2004, secure 10G PIN/APD export market: XL-photonics believe that it'll be impossible to make similar product and in year 2004, they will concentrate on producing and exporting 10GPIN/APD.
- Developed different kinds of exporting products ; from LD, PD CHIP to Module packaging
- increase and expand over seas Marketing Network (United States, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc)
2. Increase market share and develop new products based on xl-photonics technology
- produce special quality core CHIP and increase market by customers' needs: number 1 market share (70~80%) in domestic IMT-2000 market.
- Develop higher value-added business by manufacturing special quality PD CHIP or high-tech Packaging products
- By having a partnership develop new products : WDM Rx module, WSL module
3. Product differentiation and produce lower cost automatic equipment
- With Laser Welder, promote higher value-added by differ products by customers
- Increase business in semiconductor production technology in Auto Probe System
