Shenzhen Wuzhoulong Motors Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating the production of environmentally-friendly buses, trade of automobile parts and manufacture of steel plates and springs for automobiles. Established in 1987, our company is located in Baolong Industrial Park of Longgang District in Shenzhen. Our company covers an area of 100,000 square meters, and owns the production lines of U-type buses, including chassis, welding, painting, assembly and test machines. We also have more than 1000 sets of advanced manufacturing facilities, which are designed to produce 5000 pieces of buses each year. Now, our company has 800 employees, including more than 150 are specialized automobile technicians.
Since our establishment, we have positioned at environment friendly buses, aiming at becoming the largest environmentally-friendly bus manufacturer. During past 5 years from 2001, our company has invested about RMB100 million to develop hybrid power bus. Within one year, we successfully developed 2 hybrid power bus models, which passed the new technology authentication organized by Guangdong Economy and Commerce Committee and Guangdong Science & Technology, and the performances of the models are in the leading position in China. The models can save energy by more than 25%, and meet the requirements of European III Emission Standards. In 2003, the hybrid power project of our company was listed among the key construction projects of Shenzhen. In 2004, we got support from the Creation Fund of the Science & Technology Ministry. In 2005, our industrialization of hybrid power automobiles was acknowledged as high-tech project. This project has won more than 10 patents, and products have won two prizes of best environmentally-friendly bus on the Second Bus Contest. In November, 2005, the hybrid power bus project was listed into the "863" High-tech Plan of the nation. |
