I am a professional conference interpreter and translator with abundant experiences. I have been working with the UN, IEA, the Global Fund, Newsweek and MIT Technology Review as a translator. Meanwhile, I am also an advisor to the AIDS Prevention Education Project for Chinese Youth??PEPCY?? the president of the International Panel on Translation for Energy/Resource/Mineral Sectors (IPTERMS), and a consultant for international cooperation in mining and energy, focusing on research of translation management, translation and interpretation, specialzed English Training, and international cooperation in mineral and energy sectors. With more than 8 years of experience in translation and interpretation, I have served the UN, OECD, the Ministry of Finance of China, the Canadian Embassy to China, ADB, IBM, World Bank, Beijing Bank, China Construction Bank, WWF, Nokia, NDRC, DOE, Teck Cominco, Ipsos, China Mining and other organizations in over 300 sessions of international conferences, forums, negotiation, and training. I have provided simultaneous interpretation to senior officials and execs including a vice chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC of China, a vice chairman of CPPCC, Maurice F. Strong, the former under secretary-general of the UN, John Rutledge, the economic adviser to Bush and Reagan administrations, and Prof. Robert A. Mundell, the winner of Nobel Prize for Economics in 1999. I have strong experiences in interpreting and translation in the fields of mining, geology, energy, environmental protection, business, engineering, management, finance, banking, investment tourism, politics, diplomacy and legal affairs.
