Shenzhen CATIC Information Technology Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 as a high-tech enterprise of professional printing equipment, computer peripherals, system integration, software development, production and sales as a whole.
CITIC is one of initial enterprises of researching, developing and operating professional printer. We developed the first CI series line printer with Chinese card in 1986, and from that time, with our technical advantages, we cooperated closely with foreign remarkable printing enterprises, to research, develop and produce a notable brand printer with the simulation application technology and Chinese printing card under the China situation, which is widely applied in banking, securities, posts and telecommunications, communications and other industries, influencing the financial sector in China deeply.
CITIC has a strong R & D team which accounts for more than 34 percentages of the overall company staff, focusing on the research and development on the product of our own intellectual property rights all the time. In September 2003, we successfully developed PR-B passbook and receipt printer, the first self-owned intellectual property specialty printer of finance in China, which is making up for the lack of specialty printer's R&D and manufacturing in domestic market. So far we have been selling it to the state-owned banks, rural credit cooperatives, commercial banks, having been the most important product supplier and service merchant for professional printing equipment of financial sector in China and the product has been exported to the Middle East, Latin America and other countries and regions.
