Founded in 2001 with a registered capital of $5.2 million and total capital assets of $48 million, Guangdong Winner Functional Materials is a high-tech private joint-stock enterprise specializing in the manufacture and R&D of technically advanced rare-earth additives for the polymer industry. Strong technological innovation ability is our core competence. In recent years, we have established partnerships for production, education and research with over 10 famous universities and institutes of Chinese Academic Science (CAS), such as Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Sichuan University, China University of Petroleum, and Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry (CAS).
We also set up eight high-level R&D platforms, such as "Polymer Material Testing Center", "National Post-doctoral Research Station" and "Guangdong Province Academician and Specialist Workstation". Currently, we produce up to 100,000 tons annually of various kinds of rare earth-based additives and modified materials. These nontoxic, high-efficient, multifunction and eco-friendly products have been recognized as "Famous Products of Guangdong Province" and "Guangdong Famous Brand".
We are now a vice chairman unit of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, the duty chairman unit of China Plastics Additives Industry Association, and China Modified Plastic Association, the director unit of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths and the vice chairman of China Materials Web, enjoying high prestige in the related industries.
