Cenosphere is a glass hard, inert, hollow silicate sphere. Cenospheres are generally used to reduce the weight of plastics, rubbers, resins, cement, etc. They are also referred to as microspheres, hollow spheres, hollow ceramic microspheres, microballoons, or glass beads.
Application:
Plastics of many types, Paints, Coatings, Oil well drilling mud and cements, Refractory,
Insulating materials, Ceramics, Marine compounds and parts, Floatation materials, Textured construction materials, Gunite, Specialty cements, Recreation equipment, Automotive components.
Characteristics:
1.Cenospheres are 30-85% lighter than most minerals that are commonly used as fillers. Density ranges from 0.40-0.80.
2.Inertness permits cenospheres to be used in a wide variety of formulations.
3.A strong outer shell is stronger than man-made glass spheres.
4.Reduced shrinkage can be achieved.
5.Spheres have the lowest surface area to volume. High loading is possible. Less viscosity can be produced.
6.Rheology can be improved in most applications. Low slump and improved spreadablity.
7.Thermal and insulation properties can be created or enhanced.
8.Cenospheres remain stable beyond 1000?.

1.Small package: Compound paper bag + inner bag (25kg/bag, 20kg/bag).
2.Capacity of a bulk: 900-1000kg/bulk or 450-500kg/bulk.
