Shanghai Hugong Factory is a large-scale valve manufacturing enterprise with few-decade history and is one of the biggest valve suppliers in the whole country of gate valves, stop valves, ball valves, butterfly valves and hydraulic control valves etc. It enjoys extremely high popularity and impact in the industries of petroleum, chemical engineering, electric power, architecture and water supply etc. Its product demand exceeds supply and the products sell well both at home and abroad. Now there are 556 staffs, 158 technicians of all kinds including 3 professor-level senior engineers in the factory. It has set up over 10 work shops, such as precise casting, hot forging, welding, hot treatment and assembly etc. and is equipped with three production centers of forging valve, casting valve and special valve. It is also equipped with over 300 suits of various kinds of high precise processing and inspecting instruments, such as the numerical control processing center, plasma welding machines, automatic gas metal-arc welding, semi-automatic vacuum melting welding machines, over-frequency vacuum heat treatment equipments, ball turing numerically controlled lathe, high efficiency processing machine and the physicochemical and crack detector. The factory owns complete equipments and processing and inspecting measures. Its annual capacity reaches 10,000 tons, which is in the leading position among the industry.
