In as early as 1998 Konka Group made its first step into the white
appliances industry. In march 2003 Anhui Konka Household Appliances
Co., Ltd. was founded, which marked the all-round start of another
pillar industry of Konka group. In May 2003, the biggest white
appliances manufacturing base in Chuzhou, Anhui of Konka Group was
put into formal production. At the same time some important
departments, such as R&D and Sales, were relocated to Anhui from the
general headquarters in Shenzhen. Thus the huge white appliances
manufacturing triangle at the northeast, east and south of China was
formed, with an annual out of 2,000,000 pieces of refrigerating goods,
600,000 pieces washing machines. |
