Upcera block is a partially sintered 3mol% yttria (Y2O3) stabilized zirconia (ZrO2) blank , which is made from nano level zirconia powder by cold isostatic pressing and machining. thus it is more homogeneous than uniaxial pressed. After fully densified, it shows a high strength and excellent biocompatibility and aesthetics. Upcera blank can be machined to dental restorations by different CNC or manual milling systems.
In June 2008 Upcera received EN-ISO13485 (2003) Medical Devices Quality Management System Certification
In August 2008 received CE certification
