Clamping Mechanism
This kind of clamps are designed based on the double rocker mechanism (one kind of planar four-bar linkage mechanism), which are composed of one connecting bar, one fixed link and two side bars (bars connected to the fixed link).
When the two hinged points of the connecting bar and the side bars are in a line with the hinged point of one side bar and the fixed link, this mechanism is in its dead point position. Then the clamped workpiece, regardless of how high the reaction force is (except the destructive reaction force), can锟斤拷 move the mechanism, so the press spindle will not released. This is the so-called dead point clamping principle in the mechanics.
